LH2 Quick Coupling

BUTTING CryoTech’s cryogenic couplings are designed for the safe connection and transfer of very low-temperature fluids. Engineered to meet the demands of cryogenic applications, they enable the connection of equipment and transfer lines while ensuring the system’s sealing, safety, and reliability requirements are met. Their design can be adapted to operating conditions, the fluids being transported, operating pressures, connection interfaces, and operational constraints. They can thus be integrated into fixed installations or into systems requiring connection and disconnection operations, depending on the chosen configuration. Applications: liquid hydrogen (LH₂) transfer, refueling equipment, cryogenic storage and distribution systems, the gas industry, and aerospace research and applications. Functional characteristics and interfaces are defined according to customer requirements. The equipment can be designed in accordance with applicable PED requirements and/or relevant ASME codes, when these apply to the product and its intended use.
