Bosch Compact Gas Compressor

An important topic in the energy transition is the efficient and cost-effective compression and storage of hydrogen. Bosch is developing a gas compressor derived from an established automotive application. It can compress over 11 standard cubic meters per hour to up to 350 bar of high-purity hydrogen, which corresponds to more than one kilogram of hydrogen. Its compact dimensions and very low weight of under 10 kilograms significantly facilitate installation and maintenance work. In addition to hydrogen, the compressor can also be used for other gases such as nitrogen, helium, and carbon dioxide, allowing for a wide range of applications.
