HyProbe Flow, Retrofittable flow measurement probe

The engineers at Bohr have developed a proprietary solution for getting more detailed network flow data from the gas distribution network. "HyProbe Flow" is a retrofittable probe that can be installed live on a pressurised network without disruption, using a hot tap plus full bore valve to insert the Bohr device. The device uses pitot effect and differential pressure to determine flow (and other parameters, if desirable), and uses a battery powered unit to take measurements and transmit them from remote locations to a communication gateway. This device gives dynamic gas data to network operators, to assist in green gas injection planning, fault identification and other network management operations.
