Information

Designed for efficient and stable power generation Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEM fuel cells) transform hydrogen and oxygen into water, releasing energy during the process. At the heart of a PEM fuel cell is a membrane that is coated on both sides with catalyst layers—one for the anode and one for the cathode. This configuration is known as a catalyst-coated membrane (CCM). The catalyst-coated membrane (CCM) is combined with additional components to create the membrane electrode assembly (MEA), which is essential for converting chemical energy into electrical energy in a PEM fuel cell.
