Information
At Future Pipe Industries we are working to deliver water and energy to the world in the most efficient and sustainable way.
We design and manufacture composite piping systems for use across the Water, Oil & Gas, Industrial and Marine sectors. Today we are focused on Energy Transition Markets.
Enhancing our product range, we offer a number of customised solutions including system design and engineering services, project management, technical support, field supervision and training.
Our scope is global with manufacturing plants and sales offices covering projects in over 50 countries. Making it all happen is our team of over three thousand employees whose dedication and drive continue to develop solutions which connect our world.
For Energy Transition markets, FPI manufactures composite piping systems in glass fiber reinforced epoxy (GRE or Glass Reinforced Epoxy tubes).
We have a wide range of products from diameters 25mm to 1200mm resistant to temperatures up to 121°C and operating pressures up to 63 bar
Our piping systems are designed and manufactured according to the ISO 14692 standard.
Herewith our GRE tubes suitable for lines:
- UPW (transport of demineralized, deionized water for electrolysers),
- H2 (production, storage and transport)
- CO2 (tubes for carbon capture, utilisation and storage)
- Others lines (ammonia, e-fuels, BioGas & Industrial Gases)
Our piping systems have a very low carbon footprint compared to the majority of metallic and thermoplastic materials. They are perfectly suited to the transport of hydrogen:
- Extremely low permeation rate
- Insensitive to the problems of material embrittlement by hydrogen
