As an illustration of Cetim's commitment to the challenges associated with the ecological transition, and in direct line with the France 2030 plan, Cetim has launched the HyMEET (Hydrogen Materials and Equipment Engineering and Testing) strategic project in 2022, which aims to support the mechanical engineering professions, their customers and the entire industry in meeting the technological and economic challenges associated with hydrogen. The HyMEET project covers the industry's entire value chain: production, storage, transport, distribution and end use. It combines an ambitious R&D program with a €25 million investment in test facilities and characterization and validation platforms, as well as consulting and training programs. It already mobilizes more than 100 employees, and draws on Cetim's 60 years of experience and multidisciplinary expertise, notably in sealing, material embrittlement and permeability, component fatigue, cleanliness, as well as manufacturing, forming and assembly processes.
