Information
Located at the heart of the TotalEnergies biorefinery at La Mède in the southern Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, the Masshylia 2 phases project aims to produce green hydrogen by water electrolysis with a capacity of 30 tons per day, to contribute to the decarbonization of both the biorefinery and local customers at the Fos-Berre industrial-port zone.
The two partners are aiming to start up the first 20 MW (8 tons/d) electrolyser by 2029.
